In this work, I sought to capture the raw essence of human emotion, using the monotype technique to create expressive and singular touches. The stark contrast between light and darkness illustrates the inner struggle, passion and intensity found within us all. The vibrant color adds a dimension of depth that evokes the beating heart of life. This creation will bring dynamic, thoughtful energy to any space.

Corinne Cesca’s art has been exhibited throughout her native France while being featured in such publications as Le Parisian and Magazine Miroir de L’art. The sculptor and printmaker expresses herself through representations of the human form. As in life, her characters speak of diversity, joy and anger, as well as movement. Cesca’s process begins by drawing on a metal plate using various tools, intaglio inks and pigments, which she then transfers onto paper.
