About this artwork
In this work I sought to capture the raw passion and intensity of human emotions. Using the monotype technique, I created an expressionist and figurative aesthetic that brings the canvas to life. The deep black contrasts with the vibrant streaks, evoking a dance between shadow and light. This piece is a celebration of movement and emotion, intended to inject vibrant energy into every space it inhabits.

Corinne Cesca’s art has been exhibited throughout her native France while being featured in such publications as Le Parisian and Magazine Miroir de L’art. The sculptor and printmaker expresses herself through representations of the human form. As in life, her characters speak of diversity, joy and anger, as well as movement. Cesca’s process begins by drawing on a metal plate using various tools, intaglio inks and pigments, which she then transfers onto paper.
