About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the fleeting essence of moments that slip through our fingers like water in a stream. Using oil for its rich textures, I blended impressionism with semi-abstract touches to evoke a landscape that is both real and imaginative. As if from a dream, an idea, this painting suddenly appeared to me. And I created it.
It is a painting that speaks of fleeting beauty and quiet contemplation, inviting the viewer into an intimate… reflection with nature.

Corinne Vilcaz
France
Originally from Lot et Garonne, Corinne Vilcaz masters watercolor and oil painting. Her techniques highlight the contrasts of shadows and lights, and her works oscillate between figuration of the subject and abstraction of the backgrounds, giving her a recognizable style of "contemporary figuration". Her paintings, as warm as they are direct, are a true hymn to life.
