"Where Depth Begins" is an original abstract painting that offers a glimpse into the hidden layers of the earth. Constructed in earth, ash, sand, acrylic, and oil paints, the work unfolds a powerful, earth-based visual language.
The textured surface displays horizontal deposits that resemble layers of earth and rock—raw, archaic, authentic. Warm earth tones, black, ochre, and natural white… flow into one another, creating a strong visual tension.
