About this artwork
"Orange Divide" is an abstracted landscape. Like most of Cornelia's work, when she started this piece she had nothing in mind except a general idea of a landscape/seascape. Playing with color, she applied paint, added contrast, and divided the canvas according to her whim at the moment.

Cornelia Petrea is an experienced Romanian painter who has exhibited her work in France, Monaco, Romania and the United States. She obtained a mechanical engineering degree before turning to a future in art, but now fully focuses on her true passion for painting. Portraying the beauty of nature as well as her own life story, she constructs acrylic on canvas works full of hope, energy and harmony.
