There is a secret calm in finding a place that welcomes us without masks. An intimate refuge where our skin doesn't need to harden and we can embrace who we are: fragile, imperfect, luminous. That space, whether physical or of the soul, allows us to breathe without defenses, to open our hands and release fear. There, we show ourselves whole, with our doubts and our strength, without hiding scars or inventing versions of ourselves. And… in that radical transparency, we discover a profound truth: that being vulnerable doesn't weaken us, but rather makes us more genuine, more dignified, more authentically human than ever before.

Cristóbal Corbeaux, a self-taught architect and artist, is a Master of Fine Arts student at the Royal College of Art, London. He excels in painting, drawing, sculpture, and printmaking.
