About this artwork
Feeling that what you paint is sincere... that's very important. Not seeking, but allowing it to emerge from the present. Starting from abstraction and observing from silence until something possesses and guides me... that's how I work now.
And the result always surprises and fascinates me.
This is the only work in which I have painted a Buddha, they are almost always women in multiple conditions and realities... and certainly below it there was… another painting in which there was a woman with a blue top hat.
The work, very colorful, is like a dream... the dream of Buddha... contemplation, silence, life... there is wind but only the handkerchiefs fly; the rest remains static in silence.
