Inspired by the fleeting faces of passers-by, the work uses abstract expressionism to capture the anonymity and ceaseless movement of the crowd.
The composition is dominated by thick, overlapping, gestural black lines, evoking a vibrant human density and suggested figures. The monochrome palette (black,… white, gray) is enhanced with subtle touches of ochre and yellow, offering a raw texture and visceral warmth.
