About this artwork
In this painting, I was inspired by vintage aesthetics to capture the time period and aloof charisma of an icon. The use of acrylic and collage elements gives the work a textural depth that invites the viewer to explore the story behind the mysterious gaze. My goal was to create a mood that is both nostalgic and timeless, bringing a seventies style to any home it graces. In the painting, you can see seven thousand photos from her life, which I collaged…
onto the canvas background before painting her portrait on it.
