In my work I fuse collage, ink and pigments to create an abstract composition that radiates vibrancy. With every line and every splash of color I express emotions that are intended to pass on to the viewer. Dagmar and Thomas Helmbold are a German artist duo from Hanover. Dagmar studied communication design and worked for a long time worldwide as a photographer, exhibition and cultural mediator. Thomas studied free painting in Hanover and Braunschweig (master student). After successful international individual projects, both have been working together on their singular oeuvre for 20 years. Her process-oriented painting leads to vital and energetic works.
