About this artwork
Man in a hat.
60x50cm, oil, acrylic on canvas.
In this painting, I explored the juxtaposition of human emotion with the rigidity of geometric patterns and the lush intricacies of floral backdrops. The man in the hat, cast partly in shadow, embodies a sense of mystery and intrigue. His subtle, almost introspective pose contrasts vividly against the vibrant pop art-inspired splashes of color on his shirt, capturing a moment frozen between the ephemeral… and the eternal. Through acrylic and oil mediums, I aimed to evoke a narrative that speaks to the enigmatic layers of personal identity and the masks we wear. This artwork pulses with an energy that will bring a thoughtful vibrance to any living space.
The colors of the painting may look slightly different from what you see on your screen due to different computer monitor calibrations/phone screen settings.
Raised amid music, painting, and decorating, Art Daheaven exploits a variety of mediums such as painting, drawing, and textiles. Her techniques revolve around experimenting with different colors, shapes, and styles, mirroring her vibrant emotions and energy. Daheaven's work unfolds a search for balance - a quest between the sensory and the material, passion and indifference, radiance, and monotony.
