Pulse Map explores the tension between structure and instinct. A rigid grid system becomes a living surface, interrupted by circular gestures that function like signals, or pulses, within an organized framework.
Working on 600 gsm paper prepared with two layers of gesso, the artist builds depth through acrylic, stitched thread, and fragments of magazine pages. These elements introduce both material contrast and conceptual layering: order versus disruption,… repetition versus individuality.
The red-centered forms act as emotional coordinates inside a controlled environment, suggesting that even the most systematic structures carry hidden rhythms. The grid does not suppress energy, it contains it.
This work continues the artist’s ongoing exploration of modular composition, reclaimed materials, and the subtle dialogue between geometry and organic intervention.
