Acrylic on linen canvas, in a double frame for extra stability and for a nice visual expression, as the frame of the painting has a depth of 40 mm instead of the standard 20 mm. The edge of the painting is painted black, which gives an incredibly beautiful finish, which also helps to frame the painting.
City Skylines, is the title of this painting. The desire with this painting was to create a more abstract painting, where buildings and contours… flow together more, but also where transitions are more angular and raw. I was inspired by skyscrapers and iconic tall buildings. It was important with this painting that it should carry in its simplicity, without too many details.
