About this artwork
In this painting I have brought to life Apsara, the celestial dancer of the divine realms. She moves through an infinite blue cosmos, her form both fluid and luminous, adorned with jewels and a flowing crown. I painted her entirely in shades of blue, the colour of the infinite sky and sacred waters, using gold and white to trace the rhythm of her dance. For me she represents the union of beauty, grace and spiritual energy, a reminder that art like…
dance is an offering to something greater than ourselves. I work with bold expressive brushstrokes to capture movement and transcendence rather than rigid form, letting the texture of the paint carry the feeling of music made visible.
