Image size: 88x100 cm. Paper size with boarder: 98x110 cm. In creating this piece, I wanted to capture the raw, unfiltered essence of time marked by each line and detail in the hands. The monochrome tones amplify the texture, telling a story of experience, creativity, and resilience. This artwork breathes quiet strength and reflection, inviting you to feel the energy of lived moments and the artistry held within those hands, perfect for grounding… any space with its soulful presence.
Damian Ebejer Raoul is a Maltese artist who works with painting, mural art, sculpture, and poetry, developing his craft since his first solo exhibition in 1994. His style ranges from abstract expressionism to realism. He has also been commissioned to create murals and painted ceilings in the Italian neo-Classical and Baroque influences. His works often blend complex, entangled forms and vibrant colour harmonies to discover order within chaos. Ebejer’s work is a deeply introspective journey, aiming to evoke profound beauty and personal fulfillment beyond external reality, reflecting a quest for self-discovery and emotional resonance. Damian's latest solo exhibition entitled Butterfly was successfully held in December 2025. This was his 20th solo expo to date. He is now working on new approaches towards his paintings whilst remaining unattached to repetitive concepts.
