About this artwork
This diptych is the result of my research into the limits of landscape interpretation. I mixed photo manipulation techniques with classic easel painting techniques. I used a digital camera, then I used the digital image and ran it through various filters so that the digital sketch became the starting point for creating the painting on canvas.
