About this artwork
Art has the ability to move people, but people can also move art. Equality is inspired by the gruesome circumstances of the United States, where people are still discriminated against, despised, mistreated, and even die in the 21st century just because of their skin tone. What happened to our human values? A work of art with a clear message against racism and for equality.

« For me, art is a feeling with the power to move, to trigger emotions and to stimulate thinking, but above all, it is one thing, freedom. »
Dana Kathy is an emerging painter and draftsman from Germany. Using only her hands, Kathy creates whimsical designs that feature characters, sayings, and sentences that are intended to stimulate or provoke thought. Her art always mixes influences from various artistic traditions in an attempt to create something totally original with each new work.
