DABU likes to think outside the box and especially his own. He makes portraits of famous people. He works with color… using the simultaneous contrast technique of chemist Michel-Eugène Chevreul. Some of his creations are also familiar with symbolism. Finally, we can see DABU in the streets of our towns and villages looking for posters that he takes off their supports to use them in his creations.

I believe the strength of the portfolio of artworks presented by Daniel Burgraeve lies in a coherent group of artworks, even if they differ from each other in terms of composition and other aspects. They were all created from a similar visual concept.
Daniel Burgraeve defines these abstract expressionist works as lyrical abstractions. They are all action paintings, created spontaneously, non-figurative, or identifiable by rapid brushstrokes.
If I had to choose a favorite work, I would choose "lyrical abstraction 2": "LYRICAL ABSTRACTION 2".
