Daniel Carvalho is a gifted Hong Kong-based photographer focused on removing certain recognisable elements of images and rendering them down to the fundamental. Capturing photographs of cityscapes, people and architecture, he then distills these common images to create a new visual world of his own. The result is perspective-shifting works that combine familiarity and chaos, ultimately disarming the viewer and altering their perspectives.
