About this artwork
The grizzly bear is an omnivore whose nutritional program is very much in line with the seasons. Curiously, this up to 300kg animal feeds mainly on vegetable food, especially berries in summer and autumn. Drawing this figure is pleasant because of their mass, as this is given a large Austragungsfläche to use rich line variations can. Daniel Dwyer, an aspiring artist, has been fascinated by art and media such as comics, picture books and animated films, which primarily use hand-drawn techniques, since his early childhood. This passion is reflected in his current work. Using dynamic lines in ink and watercolor on paper, Dwyer creates silhouettes that gain vitality through accentuated coloring.
