The figure, held in vermilion, expresses itself primarily through its silhouette. The clothing appears relatively commonplace, only the deer antlers, which protrudes from the hood of the flowing jacket, looks strange. Nuances in the paint help the outlined shape to a vague plasticity. Ink and watercolor were used, which was applied thinly, but with a high pigment content.
