About this artwork
The figure, held in vermilion, is primarily expressed through its silhouette. A humanoid form of a deer in strange clothing can be made out. Nuances in the application of paint give the outlined form a vague plasticity. Ink and watercolors were used, which were applied thinly but richly in pigment. The paper has a thickness of 90g/m².

« The reflection takes place in retrospect, - about what has influenced me to create a certain drawing at a given time. »
Daniel Dwyer, an aspiring artist, has been fascinated by art and media such as comics, picture books and animated films, which primarily use hand-drawn techniques, since his early childhood. This passion is reflected in his current work. Using dynamic lines in ink and watercolor on paper, Dwyer creates silhouettes that gain vitality through accentuated coloring.
