About this artwork
Proud and confident, maybe a bit conceited. The Vermilion describes flat a vague space in which the figure shown by its absence of color and a highlight of the painting ground finds its shape. Here, the red draws in weaker form and colored charge through the figure, to be plasticized by hinted shades and details of the figure.

« The reflection takes place in retrospect, - about what has influenced me to create a certain drawing at a given time. »
Daniel Dwyer, an aspiring artist, has been fascinated by art and media such as comics, picture books and animated films, which primarily use hand-drawn techniques, since his early childhood. This passion is reflected in his current work. Using dynamic lines in ink and watercolor on paper, Dwyer creates silhouettes that gain vitality through accentuated coloring.
