About this artwork
The depicted persons from this series serve predominantly as fashion models with obstinate character. Their clothing in turn serves as a launch pad for trying out a variety of screen films, which are cut and glued accordingly. These grid films were mainly used in manga, but today are mostly used digitally.

Daniel Dwyer, an aspiring artist, has been fascinated by art and media such as comics, picture books and animated films, which primarily use hand-drawn techniques, since his early childhood. This passion is reflected in his current work. Using dynamic lines in ink and watercolor on paper, Dwyer creates silhouettes that gain vitality through accentuated coloring.
