About this artwork
In my work I used India ink to create strong, emotional contrasts. The comic-like, figurative style creates an energetic presence. The connection between humans and animals questions the supposedly wild, untamed nature of our souls and to what extent instinct and identity can be derived from this. A dynamic and mysterious atmosphere surrounds the figure, which evades any precise identification.
