About this artwork
I find their habits, rituals and ways of birds (particularly crows) to be fascinating. The use of nails in both the construction of the bird and the nest was intended to depict the sense of dynamism I experience when I witness these creatures in flight and/or carrying on with their everyday tasks of survival and continuance.
