Whispers in the Garden is a multi international award winning photographic series set within the quiet intimacy of a late nineteenth century Danish garden, where light, time, and presence move gently together.
Inspired by the atmosphere of Édouard Manet, the work observes the human form as part of a living composition rather than a subject alone. Dappled light filters through leaves, shaping both figure and space, while the garden itself becomes… an active presence.
The images are calm and deliberate. Nothing is forced. The figure exists within the moment, absorbed in stillness and natural rhythm.
This series reflects on attention and awareness — on the quiet relationship between body, place, and time, where everything needed is already there, waiting to be seen.

Daniel Gilpin is an internationally award-winning artist and photographer, recognised with 43 international awards and distinctions in the past 24 months.
