About this artwork
This sculpture was born from my passion for balance but also from an anecdote:
While making another sculpture, I had to bend a small piece of steel 110 degrees.
Once done, I put it behind me to continue my work. Without realizing it, I put it in such a way that it started to swing very slowly and silently... I heard a tiny noise and turned around, the piece was moving and would not stop, I was hypnotized!
A very simple, very slow and very silent… movement that I loved.
I took the radius of curvature of this small piece and made it into a larger, full-fledged sculpture that swings by itself for ten minutes, in silence!
