Daniel Malta is an experienced Brazilian painter with national exposure. With a grandfather who owned a framing shop and a grandmother who was a painting teacher, he became enamored with art at a young age, but did not turn to full-time painting until after leaving his career in finance. Painting moments of day-to-day life with influences from the neo-expressionist movement, he uses cardboard boxes as his primary surface to achieve an aesthetic full of texture and impact.
