About this artwork
Abstracted form of an animal body, which is limited to the compact shape of the trunk. The archaic form that develops from it, with the differently structured surfaces of the dark material, has a special haptic quality. The processing traces alternate with matt sanded areas and structure the surfaces. The traces of processing that are left are valid design tools and thus testify to the design process.
