About this artwork
Colors of Friendship erzählt von einer unerwarteten Nähe. Eine Frau im grünen Kleid steht im Zentrum – ruhig, aufrecht, beinahe schwebend. Die weiße, runde Sonnenbrille trennt sie nicht von der Welt, sondern öffnet einen inneren Raum der Wahrnehmung. Grün wird zum Symbol für Wachstum, Schutz und Offenheit.
Die Giraffe erscheint plötzlich, groß und präsent, durchdrungen von vielen Farben. Ihr Körper ist kein realistisches Abbild, sondern ein Geflecht… aus Emotionen, Spuren und Bewegung. Braun, Ocker, Violett und helle Akzente überlagern sich und machen sie zu einem Wesen zwischen Traum und Wirklichkeit.
Im unteren Bildbereich taucht das Grün erneut auf, löst sich von der Figur und geht in den Hintergrund über. Vorder- und Hintergrund beginnen zu kommunizieren, Grenzen verschwimmen. Das Grün wird Teil der Umgebung – Teil der Beziehung zwischen Mensch, Tier und Farbe.
Das Bild zeigt eine stille Begegnung, getragen von Vertrauen, Freundschaft und dem Mut.
