About this artwork
Ich habe dieses Bild aus der Stille heraus gemalt. Aus einem Moment, in dem Dunkelheit mehr gesagt hat als Worte. Die Figur am Kreuz erscheint fast körperlos, reduziert auf Licht und Struktur — als würde sie sich langsam im Schwarz auflösen. Für mich steht sie nicht nur für Leid, sondern für den stillen Moment dazwischen: zwischen Schmerz und Erlösung, zwischen Hoffnung und Verlassenheit.
Das Schwarz umhüllt die Szene wie eine schwere Nacht. Ich… wollte, dass das Weiß der Figur daraus hervorbricht — roh, unruhig, fast verletzlich. Die groben Strukturen im Kreuz erinnern an Holz, an Schwere, an Realität. Gleichzeitig löst sich die Form des Körpers stellenweise auf, als würde sie über das Materielle hinausgehen.
