About this artwork
In this painting, I sought to capture the dynamic intensity of sumo wrestling, blending abstract and figurative styles. The circular patterns in vibrant orange and black imbue a sense of motion, emphasizing the gravitational pull between the athletes. Using acrylic and oil, I highlighted the raw physicality and emotional tension of the moment, aiming to bring an energetic atmosphere to any space it inhabits.
