About this artwork
Sculpture made in direct carving in marble from Yzaourt - Pyrenees - France.
The wooden base is adapted to the shape of the sculpture to keep the momentum already given by the marble itself.
It gives off a particular dynamic depending on the different sides, with profiles that give it an "architectural" aspect.
It is part of a series of sculptures entitled "Perspective" in reference to this marked dynamic and architectural aspect which is also… characterized by protruding edges.

« Sow the beautiful. »
Daniel Sanchez is an award-winning sculptor based in France whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in Monaco, Luxembourg, and China. When creating with marble, he gives himself over to total improvisation, resulting in pieces that are all unique, despite a recognizable artistic style. Sanchez also employs models in clay or polyurethane foam, where the question of perpetual movement is the driving force.
