Daniel Stanford, a painter and photographer based in Canada, is committed to creating art that ‘stirs the soul’. His works capture exotic locations and highlight natural beauty in a Zen-like style that is influenced by South East Asia. Combining aspects of photography as well as natural elements, Standford’s mixed-media compositions offer a unique and contemporary approach to the use of classical materials. He employs gold and metal leaf, encaustic wax, Chinese inks, acrylics, and raw pigments in his creative process.
