About this artwork
This work shows the surface of the beautiful holiday country of Italy. The use of structural paste and metal pigments (partially oxidized) and acrylic paint gives the image a tangible depth and texture that reflects the scenic beauty of Italy, with the wonderfully curved Apennine mountains. A shade of blue shines in the dark, mysterious ocean. Northern Italy is partially surrounded by the Alps. In the capital Rome, in addition to the Vatican, there…
are also impressive works of art and ruins of ancient buildings. Milan is the fashion and design capital of Italy.

Daniela E. Hellerforth studied design and interior architecture. She realizes her art through drawings, paintings, sculptures, and photographs. Her main subjects are sculptural works and "three-dimensional paintings." Her works often have a metallic appearance—a characteristic stylistic device of her REALUSION® brand. They are often melancholic, dark, and occasionally dystopian, reflecting fantasy and mythical worlds and sometimes delving deeply into the world of human fears. Despite all their darkness, her works appeal through their unique aesthetic. The artist is dedicated to nature and environmental protection. Her goal is to trigger emotions and inspire reflection.
She has been participating in exhibitions since 2015 and is represented at art fairs and in collections.
"In my opinion, art has fulfilled its purpose when it reaches people, whether visually or acoustically, and triggers emotions – of whatever kind." (DΞH, 2015)
