About this artwork
Put through its paces - that's the saying. This work is about the human microcosm integrated into the macrocosm of our existence. Does man "function"? Is our environment still "healthy"? A cardiovascular system is depicted. In the middle is a seal of approval. This has the year 2024. The "lungs of nature" with branches and leaves grow out of the human lungs. This profound wall sculpture reminds us of the coexistence of nature and the man-made environment.…
Man intervenes in the processes of nature with his actions. How long can man himself withstand these changes? The dark tones and the robust futuristic textures and objects underline a drama that both philosophically challenges and fascinates the viewer.

Daniela E. Hellerforth studied design and interior architecture. She realizes her art through drawings, paintings, sculptures, and photographs. Her main subjects are sculptural works and "three-dimensional paintings." Her works often have a metallic appearance—a characteristic stylistic device of her REALUSION® brand. They are often melancholic, dark, and occasionally dystopian, reflecting fantasy and mythical worlds and sometimes delving deeply into the world of human fears. Despite all their darkness, her works appeal through their unique aesthetic. The artist is dedicated to nature and environmental protection. Her goal is to trigger emotions and inspire reflection.
She has been participating in exhibitions since 2015 and is represented at art fairs and in collections.
"In my opinion, art has fulfilled its purpose when it reaches people, whether visually or acoustically, and triggers emotions – of whatever kind." (DΞH, 2015)
