About this artwork
Night Flute speaks of silence as an internal place of listening.
The figure immersed in the night plays a flute that seems to be born from nature itself: the branches, the leaves and the wind become part of the invisible music that runs through the work.
I imagined this painting as a moment suspended between dream and contemplation, where time slows down and the moonlight accompanies a collected and serene presence.
The face with closed eyes… describes not only a musician, but a state of mind: the fragile harmony between human beings and nature.
The deep shades of blue and green evoke the mystery of the night, while the small luminous signs suggest a silent life that continues to vibrate even in the darkness.
For me, this work speaks to the need to find spaces of calm and listening in an often too noisy world.
With Night Flute I wish to convey a feeling of peace, like a light melody that internally accompanies the observer of the painting.
