About this artwork
My cow Elsa was created quite spontaneously in my studio. I found a photo that I had once taken on holiday on a mountain pasture. Her look had touched me so much.
Cows in general have something very special. They are not only very intelligent but also emotional animals.
I decorated Elsa's entire background with metal leaf. I painted mainly with high-quality acrylic paints, oil pastels and spray paint.
Elsa is framed with an empty frame made of… natural wood that I painted and glazed in bright green.
