Daniela Sirianni, a perceptive painter, favors mixed techniques using watercolors, pastels, chalks and oil colors. Drawing on the theories of psychoanalyst Gustav Jung and surrealist art, she creates intricate and often camelon-like figurative works. Sirianni, however, distorts the forms into primitive and childish depictions, piloting a personal and visceral interpretation. Her works reveal the expression of the unconscious, intimately shaking the observer.
