About this artwork
In this work, I have created a connection between the visible and the invisible using acrylics and spray paint. The flowing, semi-abstract forms symbolize the constant change and hidden energy of life. The soft, mystical colors invite deeper contemplation and bring a calming yet powerful atmosphere to the room. It is a reflection on and association with the numerological significance of the number nine, which is traditionally used in many mysteries… and religions to mark the completion of a cycle and thus initiate a new phase.
Daniela Zintl works primarily with acrylics, pastels, and charcoal on canvas, drawing on her art therapy background and personal experiences. Her works are intuitive, process-oriented, and stylistically open, characterized by abstract elements, circular forms, and vibrant color combinations that create space for individual perception. She aims to evoke quiet, profound emotions and memories of biographical transitions, fostering a harmonious and mindful experience—her art acts as a mirror to the unconscious, inviting quiet self-reflection.
