About this artwork
I painted this artwork after I attended at the birth a couple of weeks ago. This ‘ordinary miracle’ touched me to the core and I could not help but share this greeting of the little man to the World. Yes, it was a real miracle. As a new man appears from a neat belly. Hair, nose, nails... There was not a minute ago and, suddenly, there is!
Then I cut the umbilical cord... I nearly collapsed.
In my opinion, the most important thing now is to remain… calm and remain human... All my works are painted for and in support of this inspiration that gives us life. Which goes on no matter what!
Art gives strength and joy. The role of the artist in this is very important.
The painting is part of the Curriculum Vitae project, about the life path of a person.

Daria Bagrintseva, graduated from Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry - one of the most prestigious Russian art universities, is an experienced Russian-born painter whose work has featured in exhibitions, publications, and collections in Russia, USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Holland, Cyprus, and India. She has been awarded numerous national and international art prizes notably the American Art Awards and Milan International Art Award. Additionally, her paintings were acquired by the State Russian Museum and the Museum of Russian Art.
In her work, Daria explores a range of themes, from nude to landscape, Art Deco to abstract. Her artistic aesthetic is marked by intense colors and a sense of lightness.
