About this artwork

In this work, I capture the essence of a fleeting moment in an elegant restaurant, using pastels, pencils and chalk to reflect the softness of light and the liveliness of encounters. The impressionist style allows me to express fleeting feelings and spontaneous interactions, enveloping the scene with an atmosphere that is both intimate and universal. This art will evoke a feeling of warmth and shared life in your home, a constant reminder of the… simple joys of everyday life.

Daria Klimenko is a painter who harnessed her architectural studies in Moscow and Paris, using mixed media like oil pastel, crayons, charcoal, and oil paint. She gently intertwines impressionist and expressive styles, magnifying the dynamic textures of cityscapes. Her evocative pieces profoundly echo the moving symphony of everyday urban life.
