When you are near any body of water and you really look closely you can see colours. Darlene decided to create a "Wave Series" with that in mind along with her love of shapes and lines. There is a geometric feel to this series along with a relaxed easily placed colour scheme. She places the colours so that they all shine and this piece has a wonderful composition. Darlene Watson is an experienced Canadian painter who has exhibited her work nationally. Working within Abstract Expressionism, she allows her imagination to run free in order to intuitively create paintings full of colour, movement and soul.
