The heavens are like a ceiling reflected in this pond. We can imagine the infinite sky but often we need a place to find heaven, and this is a heavenly ceiling reflected in the pond to give us a sense of space that we can define. Are their ceilings when we look up or do we see the infinite possibilities for all to embrace and it is just a place to start our dreams.
Winfield captures the essence and nature of painting through her raw yet elegant… brushwork, refined compositions, and personal contemporary colour palette.
