About this artwork
The warm, earthy palette of this work captures the richness of the Mediterranean landscape. This piece is painted in a bold expressionist style on a box canvas. The edges are also painted so that the work can be hung without the need for a frame.

« I've always felt the need to process how I see the world through art, and I paint landscapes because I feel the subject has a universal call on our senses. »
David Brett is a passionate British painter whose works have featured in high-calibre shows across the UK. Formerly a journalist before pursuing painting as a serious profession, he has since built an impressive body of work composing colourful landscapes filled with light. Brett's paintings primarily explore the therapeutic power of art through subject, colour and light, and he aims to create paintings that are uplifting and restorative for the viewer.
