About this artwork
This is a painting inspired by the wild, youthful energy of a beach party and the ideal of a Dionysian escape from the constraints of civil society.

« Art for me is a form of direct communication that deals with the essential issues of human experience, enhancing our understanding of our responsibility and place in the world. »
David Derish is an award-winning painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in the United States whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Greece and Germany.
