This series has at its core holds the challenge for me as an artist of creating abstract works which whisper to you and intrigue you, the viewer. Brush marks , brush strokes made by hand can have infinitely different messages within their form, shape, intention and intensity.

David Drain is a Scottish artist, living in the South of Germany close to the Swiss border and the beautiful art city Basel. He exhibits regularly in galleries and art fairs across Europe and Switzerland. Creating abstract artworks has become a natural language for David, a means of expression, a way of revealing fine layers of meaning, of mystery held within form and texture, line and hue.
