About this artwork
Inspired by Greek myth, "Persephone" captures the transition between light and darkness, exploring human fragility and resilience.
Technique: Carved from Spanish Crema Marfil marble. I use the "non-finito" technique, leaving raw stone in contrast with the polished surface to create a unique tactile texture.
Placement: Its horizontal format (53 cm) is ideal for coffee tables or consoles. The warm tone of the marble changes with the daylight.

David Gómez is a Spanish sculptor who primarily works in marble. He trained in Fine Arts in Murcia and specialized in carving at the prestigious Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara.
