« I love to paint portraits of people. Getting them to tell a story. If there is one common thread in my painting, it is perhaps the love of people and nature. Often in rural or historic environments far from today's smart and fast technology. »
Gratitude is a worn out word, but it must be used here.
To have the opportunity to discover and develop through painting.
My hope is that through my paintings I can describe different types of feelings and experiences. My wish is that the viewer himself should participate and make the image his own, based on his experiences.

I can tell you that I am 46 years old, that I went to art school in Skåne and Gothenburg. That my father is also an image maker and we were the only family that had a studio in the garden when I grew up in the small village of Rottne, Småland.
I often get the motifs from growing up in Rottne, Småland or from the summer cottage in Bohuslän. There I allow lakes, stone bridges, buildings and people to come to life. I paint exclusively according to the "all prima" or "wet on wet" method, a method in which the paint never dries during the work process, that the painting is done in one, completely without interruption. The colors are allowed to mix with each other, the painting becomes unique, a little abstract but above all, for the viewer to make their own.
